WHAT IS A RESILIENCE RIDER?
Can't join the in person ride this year but still want to participate? Be a resilience rider! You can still get out on your bike - alone or with family/friends - and ride for immigrant and refugee neighbors. Set a mileage goal, # of days riding, or fundraising goal and start pedaling! The entire family can join and raise awareness!
How Does It Work?
How Does It Work?
- Resilience Riders pay a $35 registration fee receive a Pedal to Resettle training shirt. The more you raise, the more you earn via incentives.
- As soon as you register, you will receive access to your own fundraising page to personalize, as well as a resource guide to equip you in exceeding your fundraising goals. Raise as little or as much as you can -- while there is no fundraising minimum to be a Resilience Rider, there are no limitations either!
- While not required, we encourage making a creative pledge in solidarity with the PTR riders. You could pledge to ride 180 miles (the length of the PTR course) on your own time, whether on a road bike, mountain bike, beach cruiser, spin cycle, or trainer. Or, ask friends and families to donate per mile for every mile you can ride in a day.
- Resilience Riders are invited to all PTR training rides and special events including the kick-off and finish line celebrations.
