In 2020 things change very quickly. In light of that, we have made adjustments to our third annual ride for refugees. Though we have transitioned from a three day cycling event to a one day self-supported ride, our commitment to helping our new neighbors thrive remains the same.
Join this year’s self-supported ride for refugee resilience! Refugees are forced to flee their homes due to persecution for who they are or for what they believe. Thousands have come to Sacramento in hopes of finding safety and feeling a sense of belonging.
Funds raised mean housing, English classes, job assistance, after school programming and so much more. Get outside, clip in to your stationary bike, or set any sort of challenge to support refugees and immigrants in our community.
Resilience Rider - Saturday, September 26th
$35 Registration | $1500 Goal
There is no fundraising requirement, however, the more you raise to support your new neighbors, the more you earn in incentives. You will receive the PTR training shirt upon registration, and the PTR 2020 jersey at the $350 fundraising milestone.
Our team has provided suggested routes at different mileage lengths to accommodate both casual and seasoned cyclists, all with the same starting point. Plus, there is always the option to set your own challenge! Join us Saturday, September 26th, for the route of your choosing.
